Eukanuba with Prebiotics review

Hello, you may have noticed that Eukanuba has recently added Prebiotics to almost all of their dog food lines. You may be curious as to what Prebiotics are, or what the benefits of prebiotics are? well Luckily for you I have written articles answering both of thsoe questions (just use the search box to find them) :D

For now though I would like anyone who has given their dog Eukanuba with Prebiotics to post a bit of a review for me. Just let everyone know your over all experience, any noticeable changes with your dogs health and so on. I am very curious to know if the Prebiotics actually work of if it is just a big marketing gimmic! So post away.

Also if you have not used Eukanuba with Prebiotics they are offering a coupon for $5 off any bag of Eukanuba with Prebiotics! Check out their site for details

This is nothing new. Iams / Euk has had beet pulp in the diet for nearly decade. They just decided to try catching a ride on the current news about PRObiotics, assuming most people won't know the difference or be confused about it.

Well PREbiotics and PRObiotics are different. If you read this article Benefits of Prebiotic Dog Food it explains it a bit.

I think that beet pulp in dog food is bad though. Something about it being leftover that they can not give to humans. It will be nice to hear some feedback about the Eukanuba prebiotics though, if it actually does make a difference

I recently switched from Proplan because of the prebiotics and "dental defense". I have been impressed with both, and my dog is only eating about 1/2 the amount of Eukanuba vs. proplan to maintain weight and not be hungry. HIs coat looks great and we have had no unexplained (as before) episodes of diarrhea.
